Once you Arrive:
I encourage you to arrive a few minutes before your session and let yourself unwind and begin to relax. If this is your first visit, we will discuss the information on your Health Form and any medications you currently use. If you prefer to complete the health history form prior to your appointment, please click below.
During Your Session:
I want you to thoroughly enjoy your experience. Your preferences may shift throughout your session, and I will occasionally ask if the amount of pressure and room temperature are at a comfortable level. Please let me know immediately if you are uncomfortable for any reason. The goal is for your experience to be positive and healing.
Clients should wear comfortable, easy-to-remove clothing when receiving a massage. I am skilled in draping procedures that respect a client’s privacy and will keep your body continually covered with a sheet — uncovering only one part at a time in order to work on it. Typically, with a Signature Relaxation Massage, no clothes are worn under the sheet, but some people are more comfortable wearing shorts or leaving their undergarments on. If modesty is an issue, please let me know as modifications can be made around most types of clothing.
I prefer that clients do not wear jewelry to their appointment, or if you do please remove and place in a safe space (purse or bag) carried in with you. I am not responsible for the loss of any valuables. One exception is rings, as I prefer that you DO leave them on. Please be mindful of not leaving valuables behind – frantic searches in the treatment room are stress producing for all involved – not what you need after a relaxing session!
For their safety, and to promote a relaxing environment for all our clients, I ask that children are not brought unless they are also receiving treatments. Children under the age of 18 will need to have written consent from a parent or guardian prior to their session.
Socializing & Cell Phones:
I share a waiting area, and together we promote a relaxing atmosphere for all of our clients. Please be mindful of others enjoying their sessions by keeping conversations at a low volume and placing your cell phones in the silent mode.
